Orientation Camp

Since my juniors are ever so spotting.. and since some of them blogged about camp and orientation week.. I shall join the crowd! =D Besides I have most of the photos and videos anyway. =D I feel like some stalker..

Camp was good. Hope the juniors had enjoyed it. As for us (student council) we're pretty much tired and exhausted. We stayed up till 2 am just to plan the games and what not..hehe..but it was worth it when we saw them having fun.

My fav part in camp was the stream trotting, the night event we planned and of course the games! (like duh!I planned it with Eunice and Shonna) Well..to see what happened. Watch out for the video going on OB night. =D

Ragging was quite fun too! =P I'm nice to girls but I make the guys do physical stuff like pumping, chin up, and physical stuff la. Yes, I'm pretty sexist, too bad then! I make the girls tell jokes or spell..

Trust me, it's real funny to see them spelling it. As for the jokes..er..it's quite lame. I make some of them tell me about 5 jokes before I gave them my signature! I have a few nicknames among them, things like crazy carmen/carmen ng (courtesy of Jeremy)/klutz~/senior.. Hmm..some of them are scared of me too.. what did I do? :p Haha!

Culture Shock!

Never in my life did I taste Banana Leaf Rice. Seriously. After Moral Studies on saturday, Kai Li and Shonna brought me for BLR (Banana Leaf Rice). Lo and behold... it's something I have not tried, ever! So pai-sehh!! Call myself a malaysian! sigh...

So there I was, staring at the banana leaf laid before me. I was like ok... then? Came this guy with a 4-partitioned tray. I looked inside and saw well..green, yellow, reddish and brownish curry of some sort. First thought.. aha..so this is what I'm eating??? The guy placed a bit of each on my banana leaf and I was kinda distressed looking at them.

Kai Li and Shonna were getting worried if I couldn't take it. The rice came and it was time to dig in! Kai Li was really down to earth!! She was pro at using her hand and me..er... "I think I'll stick to the fork and spoon." =D *sweat*

It was nice. In fact it taste better than expected. hehehe...it took a while assuring the 2 that I'm ok and not about to puke. The 3 of us agreed.. I got a CULTURE SHOCK!!!!

It's Official..

Yup...it's official. Little bro has become well..not so little.. Your 13 today!!! Gosh!! That was fast. I feel like some old granny now. *sweat*

The best part is I like how blur you looked yesterday! Haha..no suspicion at all! Your just plain blur aren't you? Oh well.. here's one for you. HAPPY 13th BIRTHDAY!! It's my joy and also my pride to see you grow and also to have a cool little bro like you. =)

Opps..forgot to buy you something..never mind la..bring you for a movie on saturday k? hehe.. :P

Grandma gave all 3 of us ang pow..since me n ed's birthday is only 2 weeks away..hehe..funny rite? All 3 of us are born in the same month and the best part is.. it's not planned!Haha! Guess that's another reason why the 3 of us are closer.. =)

sigh..less than 6 months, I'll graduate from college. Where to go? What to do? This is occupying my mind. I feel like I have no more sense of direction. I don't know where to turn and where to go? Oh Lord, help me. More than ever..I need you!

I keep praying the same prayer every night.. "Guide me Lord, teach me Lord, let me learn something new. Lead me Lord to the place you want me to be. Teach me to lean on you Lord.Let your will be done and in your own time,Lord. My time may not work..but yours does!"

The road ahead seems far and hidden..but Lord..all I have to give and offer you now and in this moment.. I will give it all to you and for you. Make use of me to be Lord and guide me to where you want me Lord.Lead me there in your time, Lord and not mine. AMEN!
