Cheer 2008~

Okay...I'm not exactly in to cheerleading but hey..MY SCHOOL WON!!!So I'm posting this in their honour! More power to Shirtliff!!! We the senoirs are so proud of our juniors who actually fought so hard to reclaim our title as Champions that we thought was long gone! Just when I thought.."SBU..ya we used to be known as the GREAT BBGS, smart girls and talented ones too. We used to come back with trophies like as if they were just another piece."

Then when some of the seniors took over including our own batch...we failed big time. All the spirit and fire just vanished from us. When I was in form 1 and 2..we were all so proud of our school, excited that we are from SBU and we carried with us more than a 100 years of legacy with us. Anyone would feel some pride, come on la..don't tell me you won't. Then when in came form 3 we started to feel less and less spirited, guess it's because we failed and we started to give up and we slack..

We still had faith, we wanted to believe we can make it better the next year but it blows in our face. Guess we all forgot to put our hearts at right place and focusing on having fun. But then again...I have to agree, out of the entire school..no one had as much spirit as the cheerleaders would. Yea..yea..they can be bitchy and childish and just plain annoying but they do make us proud every time they perform. It's not easy to smile and dance, jump around, cart-wheeling and getting tossed into the air all at the same time.

So here's a BIG THANK YOU to our cheerleaders! Thank you gals for restoring the faith and spirit we had lost!!! Though the teachers and even parents and even fellow school mates may doubt you gals, don't give up!!! Winning again this year will mean so much to all of you, seeing what has happened in school. This is good to prove that the doubt others gave you were totally wrong! Well once again..THANKS!! You gals have impacted the school and made us as seniors so proud that we'd smile everytime we hear Shirtliff or SBU..! Truly..thank you!
