Happy Birthday, Mom~

The title says it all. Today is one very special day, yup, it's my mom's Birthday. =)

I don't think I can ever find the right words or words good enough to speak of the Queen of my heart. Funny, I always find it somewhat cliche to actually say "I Love You" to my mom or to even hug her for that matter but I did something I didn't in a long time yesterday night.

Ed bought flowers and the card, so we decided to surprise my mom.

12:00!!

The Gerberas from us..and obviously roses are from dad =)

Each of us gave her a kiss on the cheek and a hug. She was smiling a lot. Well, it's your day after all. =) I have been giving my friends birthday surprises but never my own family, this would be the first. Gosh..I feel bad. *sigh* But it was good to have done something like that for her though it maybe very insignificant.

So, we went to Tony Roma's to celebrate today and since tomorrow was my aunt's birthday, we celebrated it together. It's been quite a while since the entire family gathered together. =) Never felt happier! =D

Thank you Lord for providing me with a mother like mine. I would have never turned out the way I am if it wasn't for her. Her strict rules and principles of life had guided me though I may have hated it back then, it's clear her devotion and love towards us and we can never thank you enough mom! You inspire me in many ways and I hope I can live my life the way you had lead me to. Thank you for that you have done in my life. I know no matter where I go or no matter how old I may grow I'll always be your little girl, your only girl.. Love you mom!

Mother...

You filled my days with rainbow lights,
Fairytales and sweet dream nights,
A kiss to wipe away my tears,
Gingerbread to ease my fears.

You gave the gift of life to me
And then in love, you set me free.
I thank you for your tender care,
For deep warm hugs and being there.

I hope that when you think of me
A part of you
You'll always see....
