How long has it been..?

July..
August ...
September....
October.....
November.....

5 months.. that's already the 2nd sem I had in MCKL. I think I really enjoyed my time here and I bet the last sem will be something to look forward to. =) Coming to MCKL is the last thing I ever thought of but guess what, God has His ways, and He sent me here where I found something much more~!

But this is not the reason of this post anyway..

We weren’t really expecting to have a change again but oh well, things happen I guess. This sem was really fun cause we did Literary Criticism and it’s my favorite part thus far aside from Alias Grace and Pride and Prejudice which I like a lot too! I think I enjoy reading poems and I really enjoy decoding them. They were really inspiring and it made me think and reflect a lot each time I read a new one.

This is what made me rethink about what I want to do after A-Levels. I was having trouble deciding what I should apply for with my UCAS application. I’m definitely doing Psychology but I’ll be doing a joint honours degree. So I’m either doing Psychology with Marketing or Psychology with Eng Lit or English. *sigh* Guess, I’ll just apply for them and see which one God chooses for me. :)

To Ms Mel,

Thanks for teaching us! It was really fun in class. Learnt a lot from you and we truly thank God for that. =) You had opened my eyes to see things differently than I previously had and we enjoyed your classes! We’ll definitely miss having you with us next sem.

We’ll miss all the questions you’d throw at us, (believe it or not..) the essays and the journal you made us do (but it was really enjoyable!), the discussions we had, the associations we’d do, the analytical thinking and perceptions you had taught us to have and the thing I’ll miss the most is your lit crit classes on Fridays!

The poem you gave us by e.e. cummings was the starting point where I fell in love with poetry again and also where I started to rethink my future.. =p lame reason actually but yea.. It made me look forward to Fridays! Modern lit rocks! Haha! Well, all in all, thanks for teaching us! You’ve left unforgettable foot prints and a most amazing impact upon us. Thanks for being an inspiring and passionate lecturer unto us. God bless! =)
