I got up the monorail and stood in front of 3 Americans.(according to their accent..) Two were a couple and the other was the sister or friend. They seem to be pretty critical on everything.
They were talking about the horrible train system we have (i don't think were that bad..),
the horrid people of this country (ehm..ehm..we understand english you know..),
the horrid smell (duh..we're all sweaty from walking..it's summer 365 days here you know),
the terrible air quality (i think US isn't any better off.. ;( ),
and the funniest part is this.........
As the monorail made it's way pass Tun Sambanthan station, they saw the word 'KOLEJ METHODIST' written in blue on the wall of our college.
Man: Kolej??
Lady 1: I think it means college...
Lady 2: Horrible English..They don't pay attention to their spelling!
(i was laughing a lot here..=p)
Man: The education standards must be poor here.
Lady 1: This is a third world country after all... ( O.o...what???)
Lady 2: Don't bother bout them.. it's pretty barbaric you know.. (excuse mua!?)
Then the guy noticed the tag around my neck... he immediately elbowed the ladies next to him to look at me.. Yea..they were pretty much quiet after that.. Didn't know our name tags have silencing powers! Awesome! =p
