Went to watch the opening night of Kaki Blue yesterday with my family. It was really good. It was so funny and witty! There is so much humor in it! Go watch people. I'm not promoting it or anything, and it's also not because my brother's in it. (he doesn't pay me nor does he know that I'm blogging about it..)

Childish and gutless

This may well be one of the worst day I've had. I'm just too tired to be caught in between. But I guess I never had the choice. You can choose anything in life but you can't choose family though. In times like these, I just can't feel anything but the immense burden and frustration.

I'm so tired, I'm so tired of crying and fighting. How is it that all of you can be so childish? I'm suppose to be the second youngest, I'm suppose to be the childish one, I'm not suppose to be the tougher one, I'm not suppose to be the more sensible one. What happened to you? What happened to all you MEN?

All I can see now is how gutless and childish you both are walking out on us. Is running away all you are capable off? Everytime some small bickering happens the worst you could do is just to drive off. If you think you'll leave us stranded, think again. I'm not gonna allow anyone to make me feel that way. Not a chance.

You say your on the verge of moving out? If you really have so much guts, then WALK OUT alone. Don't take the car because it doesn't belong to you. When you do leave, remember no one kicked you out. You walked out. Your older than me and you suddenly decided to go on a rebellious phase? Grow up!

Me, myself and I..

For some funny reason, talking to Rach and Mel today made me think about myself. I don't know why, but I suddenly started evaluating myself. I traced every inch of myself back to my childhood and to the present again.

I can be quite the day dreamer sometimes and when my mind travels along the many thoughts and memories, I just get all these mixed up emotions. It can be pretty frustrating and taxing sometimes. But most of the times, I can't help but smile at the wrongs and rights I did. If there was a way I could tell my younger self how I'd look like from the eyes of the now older me, I'd bet it'd be eye opening.

"I should have.." This is definitely not a foreign sentence to me. What makes me more frustrated and worked up is the fact that I don't know and I won't know what happens after every single thing I do. There's so many times there are things I just can't gage what will happen and when it blows in my face, I wished and wished I had seen that.

How I keep forgeting that God always provides and guides me. He turns my hopelessness into hopeful situation and He turns my downs up. I don't ever think there was once that He never intervened in my 'crisis' turning it into a platform of testimony. Maybe not knowing everything sometimes is God's way of making us rely on Him more.

I think God is just waiting for the day when I will just stop thinking of the outcome and rely on Him to put everything into place. How many stupid times a day did I try to play God in my own life. How many stupid times a day did I use the word 'I' instead of 'Him'.

Looking at that long list of wrongs made realize that those were the times and the moments when I failed to seek God and rely on Him to guide me. It was not the absence of my judgement or my cleverness, it was merely the absence of HIM in me.

I did it! Well no big deal anyway. I finally got myself registered today. Commencement is on the 19th of Aug. Classes start on the 24th. Sigh... Here I come HELP!!! Er.. you do know when I say HELP it's refering to the Uni right????? :p Just checking to be sure. ;D

MaDMoNKeyz tomorrow!! =D My shoulders are really singing from the hours I spent doing the data entry. TT_TT I still have quite a thick stack to digest. At least I'm off to climb tomorrow! :) Can't wait!

One Of A Kind

Went to HELP with mom yesterday.


AGENDA : Hand in the application form and ENROLL myself.

OUTCOME : I walked out of the building confused and blank. Oh not to mention the fact that I didn't enroll myself.

REASON : Mom said I was confused after talking to the marketing officer. O.o

MY REASON : I was a little swayed and unsure. Plus I really do think my mind just went blank~ I was swayed because there is still a part of me that really wants to do Psychology. Though it's my dream, I'm also recently more realistic and practical. I'll still do Psychology, but as a minor and majoring in Marketing Comm.

WHY? : Well,the dude was all for Psychology. He kept questioning me of my choice and I kept bombarding him with questions! Every time he can't answer, he'll just stare and smile at me with his mouth frozen in position.

THEN? : So I told mom I needed a little more time to think about it and the guy said, "Even if you wanted to register today, I don't want to register you. Go home and think about it."

Went home feeling like I dropped from space. Prayed about it and called Mr Lim. By night time, I was back to my old self. Called Rach and chat for a bit and by then, I was pretty sure that I know what I want and what I'll do.

WHAT NEXT? : Go again within this week

RESOLUTION/GOAL : Get myself enrolled once and for all!

STRATEGY : Bringing Mr Lim along and planning to bring an extra shoe with me to (Rach's idea) stuff it into that guy's mouth if he starts yapping again. ;p

CONCLUSION : WAKE UP CARMEN WONG!!!! Do what you know is right for yourself!

LAUGH OF THE DAY : Reuben said,"Huh! You mean that marketing officer talked you out of enrolling instead of enrolling in!?!? He must be really bad!" Somehow I got the feeling that he was praising himself. But oh well.. At least that made me laugh. :)
